Hajj 2022: Gombe set to begin airlift of pilgrims today

Arrangements have been completed by the Gombe State Pilgrims Welfare Board for the airlift of the intending pilgrims to Saudi Arabia.

 

 

The Executive Secretary of the board, Alh Sa’adu Hassan Adamu, who stated this on Saturday at a Press briefing in Lawanti Hajj Camp Gombe, disclosed that about five hundred and eight (508) pilgrims will be airlifted to the holy land today, the 25th June 2022.

 

Alhaji Adamu said all arrangements for accommodation, transportation and healthcare of the pilgrims have been completed in the holy land.

He said all the pilgrims from the state will be airlifted from the Gombe International Airport.

 

He Further explained that pilgrims have been instructed on the do’s and don’ts in the holy land, adding that they should comply strictly with instructions.

 

 

 

Alhaji Adamu stated that MAX Airline has been assigned and already is on its way to land in Gombe for the airlift of the pilgrims.

 

The executive secretary commended the state government, traditional rulers and other stakeholders in the Hajj operation for their support.
