HAJJ 2022: Katsina commences airlift of intending pilgrims

About 554 intending pilgrims from katsina state left Umaru Musa Yar’adua International airport to king Abdulazeez International airport Jeddah on Thursday.

 

“They have already arrived safely” says Badaru Karofi, the spokesperson of the state pilgrims welfare board in a statement on Friday.

 

The Amirul Hajj and the Leader of the katsina state deligation Justice Musa Danladi Abubakar who spoke before the departure of the pilgrims congratulated them for for being the guest of Allah.

 

“He Charged them to be good Ambassadors of the nation and state in general and colled on them to pray for the country and its leaders”

 

On his part, the Executive Director of the board Alhaji Suleiman Nuhu Kuki expressed delight with the pilgrims conduct since their arrival to camp.

 

Also, the representative of Max Air commended the Executive Director and the Amirul Hajj for their Dedication during the inaugural flight operation.

 

Meanwhile the Amirul Hajj of the state has held a Stakeholders meeting to review the performance of the first flight of this year’s Hajj airlift to Saudi Arabia.

 

The meeting had in attendance members of the delegation, Management of the board and security agencies representatives among others.

 

Some of the pilgrims who spoke to journalists before their departure to  the Holy land thanked the state government and the board for the way and manner they were treated.
