Hajj 2022: Katsina to accommodate its Pilgrims closer to Grand Mosque, commend staff for dedication to duty

The Katsina State Government said it has secured a standard accomodation that is few metres away from Grand Mosque in Makkah to accommodate its 2022 #Hajj intending pilgrims.

 

The Executive Director of Katsina State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Suleiman Nuhu Kuki who just returns from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as part of pre hajj activities made this known during an enlarged meeting with Zonal Pilgrims Welfare officers,  their assistants, management and staff of the board to appraise the level of preparations towards 2022 Hajj

The Executive Directors harps on reviewing the completion of Pilgrims  Hajj deposits by intending pilgrims, the 2022 Hajj medical requirements  and adherence to NAHCON and Saudi Arabia guidelines.

 

Alh Kuki while commending the staff for their dedication so far charged them to rededicate themselves to ensure the success of this year’s Hajj exercise.

 

The Executive Director expressed satisfaction on the level of compliance on both first and second dose of Covid 19 vaccination, as well as the booster jab on Katsina 2022 intending Pilgrims.

 

On the issue of ongoing medical screening, Alh kuki expressed satisfaction on the progress achieved. He urged the zonal Pilgrims Officers to ensure that all intending Pilgrims are screened.

 

The Executive Director expressed appreciation to the state government under the leadership of the Governor of the state Rt Hon.Aminu Bello Masari as well as the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria(NAHCON) for their unrelenting Support and guidance to Katsina state Pilgrims welfare board.

 

While contributing to the Brainstorming session, some of the Directors and Zonal officers pledged their loyalty to the Board, promising to put more efforts towards achieving a hitch-free Hajj 2022.
