HAJJ 2022: Over 8,000 Pakistan pilgrims flown to Saudi Arabia in five days

More than 8,000 Hajj pilgrims were flown to Saudi Arabia in five days under ‘Road to Makkah’ project. As many as 106 flights would operate till June 30.

 

 

Staff members are working for the assistance of the pilgrims at the Madina airport, according to the religious ministry officials. Dispensaries have been set up at Saudi airports and residential sectors under the Pakistani Hajj Medical mission.

 

Employees of police and Rescue 1122 as assistants have taken the charge of food, transport, and residence matters.

 

The Hajj flight operations began on June 6 through four flights of the national flag carrier – Pakistan International Airlines. Around 1,080 pilgrims left for Hajj in four flights.
