Hajj 2022: Taraba ends Pilgrims Enlightenment

Taraba state MPWB has commenced last phase of its education and orientation exercise for 2022 intending pilgrims.

 

The last phase is taking place at the Temporary Orientation Camp (Model Primary school) Jalingo.

 

The Director, Welfare and Pilgrims Education of the Board, Malam Umar Adamu stated that the training was designed to enlighten and educate 2022 Hajj intending pilgrims on what they were expected to do during the pilgrimage in the holy land.

A statement Saturday, by the spokesperson of the board, Suwaiba Imam Nuru said the training is part of the programmes being organised by the Board to keep intending pilgrims abreast of what they are expected to do or not do during the Hajj .

 

The Director advice the intending pilgrims to participate in all the programs organised by the Board especially as the Saudi Arabian authorities may introduce new policies and guidelines for performance of Hajj after the Covid -19 pandemic .

 

Lectures were conducted based on Gender, for male and female pilgrims, where many Islamic Scholars delivered lectures, specifically on Hajj related matters.

Similarly some of the intending pilgrims from other local governments were also attended to.

 

The Board has made necessary provisions such as Accomodation, Security and other facilities at the camp .

 

Base on observation the Camping was started smoothly and successful.
