Hajj 2023: Adamawa Pilgrims Commission Organises 3-day Training Workshop

The Adamawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Commission has organized a three day train the trainer sensitization workshop for Hajj, Umrah and Ziyarah for Hajj 2023 operation.

 

Declaring the workshop opened in Yola, the Permanent Secretary and Executive Secretary of the Commission, Malam Abubakar Salihu who welcomed the participants, explained the reasons for organising the training.

 

Malam Abubakar Salihu said is aimed at having a unified working document to be used during enlightenment exercise for Intending Pilgrims across the twenty-one local government areas of the state.

 

He said the trainers should teach the intending Pilgrims what is prepared in the working document as accepted by the Commission.

 

In a remark, the Chairman of the Commission, Imam Bappari Umar Kem enumerated some of the importance of the working document and the need to equip the trainers for effective delivery.

 

Imam Bappari Umar Kem urged the train the trainers to ensure compliance to the working document during the enlightenment sessions.

 

In a separate chat with two of the participants, Usman Suleiman Girei and Zainab Mohammed, they described the workshop as relevant and useful which would ensure that lessons taught to intending pilgrims are uniform across the state.
