HAJJ: 2023: BAUCHI COMMENCES PROCESS FOR SECURING VISA TO PILGRIMS

As part of preparation for this year’s hajj exercise, the Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has commenced process for securing visas for intending Pilgrims from the state.

 

The Executive Secretary of the Board Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris made the disclosure today Monday 8 May, 2023 while speaking with journalists in his office.

 

Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris said all intending Pilgrims who completed payment of their hajj fare have been enrolled in the process.

 

The Executive Secretary further disclosed that the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON has assigned Max Air to be the official career for five states including Bauchi State.

 

According to him, the flight schedule for the airlift of this year intending Pilgrims would be released soon, adding that other vital information would be made known after their meeting this week in Abuja.

 

On Pilgrims vaccination and allocation of 32 and 8 kilograms bags, the executive Secretary assured that preparations are been completed by the board for a hitch free exercise.

 

Speaking on Pilgrims under the Hajj Saving Scheme, Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris said the board had received the names of 154 Pilgrims who made complete payment of their fares under the Hajj saving scheme.

 

He assured them of the board’s determination to carry them a long in all the process.

 

Imam Abdurrahman Idris used the medium to express gratitude to Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad for his support to the board and called on intending Pilgrims to pray for the success of the present Administration
