” We have constituted committees that visited all the pay points in the state to issue Bank Deposit Tellers and official receipts to our intending pilgrims” Imam Abdurrahman added.

He further unveiled that his Board has completed arrangements to remit a 50% deposit of its total allocation to NAHCON.

Imam Abdurrahman further advise the prospective depositors who paid less than 2.5M  to improve their payment to enable the Board to achieve other processes on time.

Imam Abdurrahman further explained that, during a recent pre-Hajj visit in Makkah,  negotiation between Bauchi and service providers for the provision of feeding and befitting accommodation close to Haram reached an advanced stage.

He then commended His Excellency, the Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad for his commitment to providing all the needed support to ensure the comfort of the pilgrims.

In a similar development, the Board has held a management meeting to discuss the preparations for this year’s hajj

In his welcome address, Executive Secretary Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris said the meeting is initiated to discuss the ongoing Hajj deposit exercise, deposit performance  by all the pay points and to also deliberate on the newly designed 2023 Pilgrims Data Form.
