Hajj 2023: Kaduna secures accommodation near Haram
Press Release
In its bid to achieve a successful 2023 Hajj, a delegation from Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency led by the Executive Secretary, Dr. Yusuf Yakubu Arrigasiyyu has secured standard accommodation for the state pilgrims in #Makkah.
The accommodation, secured by the agency is within the defined parameters of the Saudi Ministry of Hajj in terms of distance, quality and other standards.
The agency is also working on getting a decent catering service provider for its pilgrims as it has gone far in discussions with top service providers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In the same vein, Dr Yusuf Arrigasiyyu has been saddled with the responsibility of leading a committee to review the operation and possessions of official vehicles in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Some of the state’s owned vehicles are outdated, some in bad shape and others requiring maintenance.
The committee has swung into action by inspecting the vehicles, meeting with custodians and is setting out modalities for the operation and management of the vehicles.
In another development, the Agency has received the allocation of 5,982 Hajj slots for the year 2023 from the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).
Dr. Yusuf Arrigasiyyu advised registered intending pilgrims in the state to update their payments to meet-up with N2.5 million before 20th February, 2023. This will help guarantee the slots offered to the pilgrims.
