The Katsina State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has pegged this year’s Hajj fare at N2,919,000.00 only and fixed as Friday April 21, 2023, as the deadline for the collection of balances from intending pilgrims.
Announcing this in a statement in Katsina, the board explained that this is the outcome of the meeting held between the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) with the Chief Executive Officers of States pilgrims’ welfare boards on Friday (7th April 2023), which decided the final and approved multi-tier 2023 Hajj fares to the general public.
Accordingly, the Katsina state pilgrims’ welfare board advised all intending pilgrims that registered and made deposit payments to come forward and settle their balances within the deadline. This will enable it settle its Commitments to NAHCON and continue other preparations for their travel arrangements to Saudi Arabia for the pilgrimage.
While soliciting for their continued understanding and cooperation, the board also advised its teeming depositors to make use of the limited time and approach their Zonal Officers to complete their payments via bank draft as no cash payment is allowed.
The board prayed to Allah for guidance, ease and grant a hitch-free operation.
