Hajj 2023: Katsina Pilgrims Board Boss meets Zonal Pilgrims Officers, calls for consolidation

The Executive Director Katsina State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Suleiman Nuhu Kuki has urged the Staff of the board to avoid laxity and always keep the ball rolling by being proactive.

He also commend the officers for their efforts that’ed to the success recorded in the last Hajj exercise.

The Executive Director charged the staff of the board to avoid success induced laxity and raise the bar of their performance as the board is set to begin preparations for 2023 Hajj.

Speaking during a meeting with Zonal Pilgrims officers and their Assistants at the boards’ conference hall in Katsina on Thursday, Alh Kuki stated that the objective of the meeting is to review the state’s performance during 2022 Hajj operations and also kick start the blueprints for 2023 Hajj Exercise.

The Executive Director expressed appreciation to the staff and stakeholders in the state for their support which paved the way for the successes recorded during the 2022 Hajj exercise.

“The result of your supports manifested in torrents of awards received by the board. Prominent among these recognitions was an Award of Excellence in Pilgrims enlightenments, programme monitoring, and award in recognition of outstanding performance in constitution of state’s Committees from the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria.

“Also, the state bags three Heroes of 2022 Hajj award from Independent Hajj Reporters where His Excellency Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari clinched the best governor on pilgrims’ welfare from 2015 to 2022.

” The board also took home the best accommodation in Makkah and most organized states pilgrims welfare board during 2022 hajj,”he said.

Alhaji Suleiman Nuhu Kuki therefore, expressed appreciation to the Executive Governor of Katsina State Rt.Hon.Aminu Bello Masari for his tireless efforts in providing all that is needed for the welfare of pilgrims from the state.
