The Board of Katsina State Pilgrims Welfare Board had met to appraise the achievement the board recorded during the 2022 hajj and to marshal the plan for the 2023 hajj
The meeting which is the last in the 2022 year was held at the corporate headquarters of the board in Katsina.
The Chairman of the Board, Alhaji Yusuf Barmo, along with the Executive Director, Alhaji Suleiman Nuhu Kuki and other board members attended the meeting and discussed the Hajj 2022 operations that fetched the board Six prestigious awards.

Addressing the board members, the Executive Director of the board Alhaji Suleiman Nuhu Kuki said the Objectives of the meeting is for management to brief the board members on the performance of the 2022 Hajj operation, and to discuss the commencement of preparations for Hajj 2023 exercise respectively.
Alh Kuki expressed appreciation for the Board’s efforts and support during the just concluded 2022 Hajj Exercise.
Responding, the Board Chairman, Alh Yusuf Barmo congratulated the Board, management and staff for the Success recorded during the 2022 Hajj season.
Members were also informed that His Excellency the Executive Governor, Alh Aminu Bello Masari has approved the commencement of the Hajj 2023 season, in line with the NAHCON Guidelines.
