Hajj 2023: Katsina transports 1,070 intending pilgrims so far

Not fewer than one thousand and seventy intending pilgrims from Katsina State have been transported to the Holyland for the 2023 pilgrimage.

 

The first flight departed Umaru Musa Yar’adua International Airport Katsina with 543 pilgrims and arrived King Abdul’azeez International Airport Jeddah at about 9.30 Nigerian time on 31/5/2023.

 

The Second flight with 527 intending pilgrims left at about 2.04am on Thursday and arrived Jeddah early morning of Friday.

The Amirul Hajj, who was the former Speaker of the state house of assembly, Alhaji Tasiu Maigari Zango, members of his Committee, Executive Director of the board, Alhaji Suleiman Nuhu Kuki, and other board members witnessed their departure.

 

The Executive Director expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the operation and urged intending pilgrims to always cooperate with stakeholders on Hajj in Katsina state for the successful airlifts.
