Hajj 2023: Ministry of Hajj, Saudi Post Signs Agreement on Pilgrims’ Luggage

Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, today, signed a strategic cooperation and partnership agreement with Saudi Post Corporation (SPL) to develop the services provided to the pilgrims and coordinate baggage transportation services during the Hajj season 1444 AH.

The agreement was signed by the Ministry’s Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr Abdulfattah bin Sulaiman Mashat, and SPL President Eng. Anef Abanomai. The two sides agreed to employ their expertise in achieving common goals and interests and coordinate their efforts concerning pilgrims and Umrah performers, and set a general framework for common works, activities, and tasks in serving the pilgrims, focusing on the areas of awareness and guidance, transportation services among others.

A few days ago, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah signed several cooperation agreements with governmental and private agencies to make the current Umrah season and the upcoming Hajj season a success.
