HAJJ 2023: NASARAWA URGE INTENDING PILGRIMS TO COMPLETE PAYMENT BEFORE APRIL 21

Following the recent announcement for the 2023 Hajj fare by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON, The Executive Secretary Nasarawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board Mallam Idris Ahmad Almakura has directed intending pilgrims from the state to deposit the sum of N2,919 million as this year’s Hajj.

 

This is contained in a statement signed by the Executive Secretary of the board and made available to newsmen in Lafia, the Nasarawa State Capital.

 

The statement noted those who deposited above the pronounced Hajj fare will get refund of their balance while those who are yet to meet up the Hajj fare should do so on or before the 21th of April, 2023.

 

Mallam Idris Almakura reiterated that the board under his watch will maintain its policy of first come first serve, adding that those who left their deposit with the board will be given priority while those that did not meet up can apply for refund.

 

The statement called on the prospective pilgrims from Nasarawa State to compliment the efforts of the board by completing their Hajj fare on time to enable the board meet up its necessary arrangements in the holy land in good time.

 

Mallam Idris Ahmad Almakura used the statement to shower encomium to the Governor of Nasarawa State Engineer Abdullahi Sule who during his leaser Hajj in Saudi Arabia inspected pilgrim’s accommodations with promised of rendering support that will improve the welfare of pilgrims during this year’s Hajj.
