Press Release

The Executive Secretary of Niger State Pilgrims welfare Board, Alhaji Muhammad Awwal Aliyu, has assured the 2023 intending pilgrims from the state of airlifting them to the holy land as scheduled by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).

The Executive Secretary said the state has concluded all arrangements to airlift the intending pilgrims to the holy land for this year’s spiritual journey and called on them to commit themselves to the on-going training holding across the state as the exercise will help them acquaint themselves with the Hajj rites.

Alhaji Awwal Aliyu, further implored the Intending Pilgrims to ensure that they abide by all the laws of the Holy land as told by the resource persons while the board awaits for the take-off schedule from NAHCON.

It could be recalled that a Saudi-based Airline (Flynas) is the official carrier assigned to Niger State for the Pilgrims airlift.
