Hajj 2023: Niger Pilgrims Boss Inspect Airport, Prepare for hitch-free hajj

The Executive Secretary of the Niger State Pilgrims Welfare Board Alhaji Umar Makun Lapai has reiterated the commitment of the Board to ensuring hitch a free Hajj exercise in 2023.

 

Makun Lapai stated this when he paid a courtesy call to the new manager of the Minna International Airport authority in Minna the state capital.

Makun said they were at the airport for a courtesy call to the new airport manager and to assess the facilities on the ground to seek intervention from relevant authorities in the areas of need to make the 2023 Hajj Airlift from Minna Airport a reality.

 

The Permanent Secretary Ministry for transport Niger State, Alhaji Mohammed Nahauni who was part of the entourage, commended the Management of the Airport for showing commitment to uplifting the activities of the airport.

 

Nahauni advised the airport Management to collaborate with relevant agencies in facilitating the affairs of the airport.

 

Makun who lamented their inability to airlift pilgrims from the airport, however, assured the airport management of the full cooperation of the Niger State Pilgrims board in making sure the 2023 Hajj exercise is hitch-free.
