Hajj 2023: Yobe gets 1,968 seats, urge pilgrims to increase Hajj fare deposit

The Yobe State Pilgrims Commission has been allocated with a total of 1968 seats for the year 2023 Hajj exercise by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).

 

The Executive Chairman of the State Pilgrims Commission Alhaji Mai Aliyu Usman Biriri disclosed this to newsmen while briefing top management of the Commission, Local Government Fare Collectors and other Hajj Stakeholders on Monday 6 February 2023 at His office of the Pilgrims Commission Damaturu.

 

The Chairman of the Commission advised those who made deposit in respect of the 2023 Hajj to top up their Hajj deposits to N2,500,000 before the official announcement of 2023 Hajj fare by NAHCON.

 

Alhaji Mai Aliyu explained that due to current realities, the cost for this year’s Hajj is projected to go upward and therefore stressed the need for the Intending Pilgrims to top up their deposit and await the final announcement of the 2023 Hajj fares by NAHCON.
