Hajj Airlift: Nasarawa Pilgrims’ Board Boss Visit Security Agencies. Calls for collaboration

The Executive Secretary of Nasarawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board Mallam Idris Ahmad Almakura has led the management of the board on a courtesy visit to Commissioner of Police Soyemi Adesina and Commandant Civil Defence Abbas Bappa Mohammed at their offices in Lafia.

 

Mallam Idris Almakura informed the head of the security agencies in the state that the purpose of his was to express appreciation for the support the Police and Civil Defence are rendering to the success of the hajj operation over years.

He told the police commissioner and the Commandant NSCDC  that Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State is appreciating the synergy existing between the two agencies and the board urging them to sustain the spirit.

 

Mallam Almakura used the medium to appeal to the two security chiefs to provide the board with security personnel as preparations for the airlift of pilgrims set to commence.

In their reactions, Commissioner of Police Mr Soyemi Adesina and Commandant NSCDC Abbas Bappa Mohammed appreciated the Secretary of the board for the visit and assured him of their readiness to provide the board with operatives that will provide security during and after the hajj operation.

 

They, however, commended Governor Abdullahi Sule for providing a conducive atmosphere for them to operate.
