The Executive Secretary of Plateau State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Barrister Auwal Abdullahi has expressed satisfaction with the airlift of Nigerian intending pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for this year’s Hajj exercise, saying the outward journey has been smooth and hitch free, so far.

He commended the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON, for putting in place a sound structure and arrangements for a stress-free operation this year.

Barrister Auwal Abdullahi, who said already about nine hundred Plateau State pilgrims have been airlifted, in two flights, to the holy land, is optimistic that the remaining about five hundred pilgrims will be ferried to Saudi Arabia later today.
