HAJJ: BAUCHI COMMENDS PILGRIMS’ TRAINING CENTRES ON EDUCATION AND ENLIGHTENMENT

Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has commended the Pilgrims Training Centres  for their dedication and hardworking in a bid to improve on Hajj enlightenment programme in the State

The Executive Secretary of the Board, Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris made the commendation during an interactive session with Ulamas and other Coordinators of the Pilgrims Training Centres in the state, held at the Conference Hall of the Board.

 

He noted that the pilgrim’s education and enlightenment is a deliberate effort to acquaint the pilgrims on dos and don’ts of the pilgrimage with a view for them to have Hajj Mabrur.

 

Imam Abdurrahman expressed optimism that the support made by the Pilgrims Training Centres has greatly led to the winning of 2022 Award of excellent performance on enlightenment Programme Monitoring from National Hajj Commission of Nigeria.

 

He pledged to continue to work in synergy with the Hajj Training Centres and other relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth operation.

 

In his remarks the Special Adviser to his Excellency, Governor of Bauchi State on pilgrims Affairs, Alhaji Adamu Ibn Madaki appreciated Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad for considering a welfare of pilgrims as part of priority of the Government, noting that Government has provided all the necessary support to the Board to ensure well-being of the pilgrims.

Earlier, in his welcome address the Director Education and Enlightenment of the Board, Alh.Bala Ibrahim Sani acknowledged that the 58 Hajj Training Centres in Bauchi has been cooperating with the Board in the task of providing services to the pilgrims throughout the hajj operation.

 

 

He implored the Training Centres not to relent on their effort as Government on it’s part is strategizing ways to improve on the support to them.

 

In their several responses, the Coordinators of the Babasidi primary school and Shira Local Government Hajj Training Centres,  Alhaji Haruna Garba Ningi and Ismail Malam Balali appreciated the Board for organizing the meeting at this auspicious time and assured their readiness to continue to serve the pilgrims in collaboration with the Board.
