Hajj Cancellation: Sokoto to commence Refund of Pilgrim’s Deposit

In line with the directives of Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal to Pilgrims Welfare Agency Sokoto,The Agency met with the Assistant Hajj Registration Officers of the 23 Local Government Areas of the state today, Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Agency’s Secretariat.

Speaking during the meeting, the Chairman of the Agency Mukhtar Bello Maigona directed the Local Government Officials to liaise with the Agency to ensure successful refund of the deposits.

Maigona also charged them to support the Agency with a view to achieving its success in that direction.

In his remark, the Director General of the Agency, Shehu Muhammed Dange assured the officers that the Agency will work hand in hand with them to ensure that all the intending pilgrims received their deposits.

The meeting was attended by the Directors and some staff of the Agency.
