Red Cross Society of Nigeria said it will partner with Kaduna State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board to train its staff on how to respond first to emergency and disaster management.
The National Chairman of Red Cross Society of Nigeria Kaduna State Branch Alh. Abdullahi Jibrin stated this during a courtesy visit to the Board premises located in Kaduna.
Alhaji Abdullahi said the essence of their visit is to sustain a good working relationship between the Board and the Red Cross Society.
Earlier the Ag. Overseer of the Board Haj. Hannatu Zailani acknowledged that the newly appointed Chairman of the Red Cross Society is a hard-working officer in terms of promoting and moving the organization forward. She recalled that he worked with the Board several years ago as a Pilgrims Officer in Zangon Kataf with a record of positive achievements.
Haj. Hannatu expresses optimism that the Chairman will Insha Allah succeeds during his tenure as the chairman of the Red Cross, being a capable person. She congratulated him on his new designation and prayed for Allah’s guidance and protection to discharge his noble assignment effectively.
