Hajj Saving Scheme will assist Osun Muslims – Oyetola

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) under the Chairman Barrister ZikrulLlah Olakunle Hassan has officially launched Hajj Savings Scheme (HSS) in the State at Osun Muslim Community Osogbo today Monday 14th December 2020.

The Governor of the Osun State under the leadership of Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola in his welcome address said that “the official launch of the Hajj Savings Scheme in the State of Osun at Osun State Muslim Community Osogbo today Monday 14th December 2020.

The Governor of the Osun State under the leadership of Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola in his welcome address explained that the official launch of the Hajj savings scheme in the State of Osun is a dream come true for the majority of Muslims in the State who cannot afford the payment of the Hajj fare at once, which as at today, stands at 1,5million naira.

The Governor who was represented by the Honourable Commissioner, Alhaji Tajudeen Lawal further added that this scheme gives Muslims the opportunity to be Savings their hard-earned money which would in turn be invested in halaal manner that would guarantee a reasonable profit for those that enrolled to this scheme annually.

The Governor then assured the cooperation of the State added that all arrangements will be put in place for the success of this programme.

The Chairman, National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, Barrister ZikrulLlah Olakunle Hassan who was represented by Alhaji Mousa Ubandawaki in his opening remarks express his gratitude to the government of Osun , the Muslims Community and all management Staff as well.

He further seeks for the support of every Muslims to key into this programmed in n order to make it easier for them to perform the last pillar of Islam.

The Administrative Secretary Muslim pilgrims welfare Board in his vote of thanks, thank the State Government for his continuous support to the board all the time.

Mr Bolaji further appreciates the management staff for their cooperation towards the success of this programme.

Present at the events were Commissioner for Home Affairs, Alhaji Tajudeen Lawal, Alhaja lateefat Giwa , NAHCON Officials,MPWB Officials, Jaiz Bank Officials, Ulamas and Muslims Community among others.
