Hajj services: NAHCON Makkah Operation’s Office Meets Mutawwif Company of African Non-Arab Countries

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) is working assiduously towards the success of this year’s Hajj Operations.

 

Already, the Commission has utilised 95,000 allocations meant for Nigerian Pilgrims and NAHCON is working round the clock to seek collaboration with the company of Mutawwifs and other relevant Saudi Agencies so as to make the Hajj exercise a befitting one.

 

The NAHCON Deputy Coordinator in Makkah, Alhaji Alidu Shutti disclosed this during an operational engagement with the Company of Mutawwifs for African Non Arab Countries’ Pilgrims in Makkah.

 

He harped on the need for more partnership by both parties, moreso, Nigeria is fully utilising its 95,000 allocations.

 

Alhaji Shutti informed the meeting that the Commission is prepared to key into strategies that will benefit Nigerian Pilgrims.

 

He noted that the Commission is more informed now than before the meeting and promised to work on the outcome of the meeting for further consideration and necessary actions.

 

He assured that what requires compliance will be complied with accordingly without any hindrances.

 

 

The Deputy Makkah Coordinator however, lauded the cooperation and appreciated the resources deployed by the Company of Mutawwifs in Makkah so as to achieve a huge success during this year’s Hajj Operation.

 

 

In his contributions at the meeting, the Makkah Liaison Officer, Alhaji Abubakar Lamin requested the company to make sure that Nigerian contingent be given a special care at Masha’er for tents and medical services delivery.

 

The Chief of Operations of NAHCON National Medical Team, Dr. Usman Galadima, in his contribution recalled the  previous year’s  collaborations which should be improved upon so that more ambulances be deployed as pledged in order to upgrade the similarities of past recorded success.

 

He said,“ Designated space for medical clinic at 17 field office and examination couch/bed and medicines supplied made our work easy at Masha’er.”

 

While making his comments, the Coordinator Hajji Saving Scheme, Dr. Alliyu Tanko extended NAHCON Chairman/CEO’s message that: “All he wants is the best for the Nigerian Pilgrims in all aspects of services to be rendered to them.”

 

He however said that, he felt relieved by seeing the experienced persons assigned to handle the various activities during the Hajj exercise.

 

Responding, the Vice President of the  Mutawif Company,  Ar-Rayyan Muglan  who presided over the interaction expressed their readiness to cooperate with NAHCON on anything to positively enhance the 2023 Hajj operation.

 

He emphasized the long history of working together with the Nigerian Hajj Mission as a great opportunity and honour for them in serving the guests of Allah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

 

 

He also restated their commitment to listen to the Commission’s suggestions and new ideas on how to improve their services delivery to our Pilgrims.

 

 

The Vice President also stated that, the Field offices’ operations have mapped out strategies to ensure comfort and satisfaction of the 95,000 Pilgrims.

 

He also mentioned that Company of Mutawwif Medical team will surely cooperate with the Commission’s medical personnel as contacts will be shared and workshops organized.

 

Mr. Muglan expressed the determination of the company to work 24/7hrs as NAHCON staff are used to be working during the Hajj exercise so as to achieve a good result at the end.

 

The meeting was attended by the Head of Ground Handling and Accommodation section of the company Mr. Adnan Mukhtar, Head of 18 Field Offices and NAHCON Makkah Office Operational staff among others.
