HAJJ2022: NAHCON Conferd Award Of Excellence On Adamawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Commission

The Adamawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Commission has formally been presented with 3 awards of excellence for outstanding performances during the 2022 Hajj operation.

 

The formal presentation of the awards was held Thursday during a stakeholders’ meeting convened by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON, at auditorium of the National Mosque, Abuja.

 

It would be recalled that the report of the Assessment and Award Committee for Hajj 2022 scored Adamawa State high in various fields of the Hajj2022 exercise.

The Permanent Secretary and Executive Secretary of the Commission, Malam Abubakar Salihu who received the award on behalf of the State, thanked the Almighty Allah for the recognition.

 

He equally poured encomium on Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri who made it possible for the state to achieve the lofty heights.

 

The Permanent Secretary and Executive Secretary was accompanied by the Director of operations, Alhaji Hassan Ali and Director, Finance and Accounts, Hajiya Maryam Zubairu.

 

The awards include:

  1. Award of excellence in recognition of outstanding performance in Constitution of States’ Committees during the 2022 Hajj exercise.

 

  1. Award of excellence in recognition of outstanding performance in deadline for 90% remittance of Hajj fares during the 2022 Hajj exercise.

 

  1. Award of excellence in recognition of outstanding performance in Arafat (Turaddudiyya) compliance to Jamrat regulations during the 2022 Hajj exercise.
