How Saudi Nigeria Joint Operations Thwart Attempt to Smuggle 451,807 Amphetamine Tablets into Saudi Arabia – Colonel Talal Al-Shalhoub

The security spokesman of the Saudi Arabia Ministry of Interior Colonel Talal Al-Shalhoub has said the proactive security follow-up of the activities of criminal networks that smuggle drugs into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia resulted in thwarting an attempt by one of the drug production and smuggling networks linked to the Lebanese terrorist organization Hezbollah, to smuggle 451,807 amphetamine tablets to the Kingdom.

 

 

Hidden inside mechanical equipment the network attempt to smuggle it by sea from Lebanon to the Federal Republic of Nigeria before being shipped to another country and sent to the Kingdom. The drugs was seized during an operation with our counterparts in Nigeria.

 

The security spokesman noted the positive cooperation with counterparts in the Federal Republic of Nigeria resulted in seizure of narcotic substances, stressing that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will continues to follow up on criminal activities that target its security and its youth with drugs, confront and thwart them, and arrest those involved.
