The Bauchi State has been honored with a prestigious award of excellent as the state with Modern Hajj camp in Nigeria and overall in camping activities during a 2022 Hajj operation.
The independent Hajj reporters an organisation that monitor Hajj activities in Nigeria and in Saudi Arabia organized and conducted the event( 2022 Hajj lecture/Award) which took place on Thursday 22nd of September, 2022 ( 24 the safar, 1444AH) at the National Mosque Auditorium, Abuja.
Speaking shortly after recieving the Award on behalf of the Bauchi State Government, the Executive Secretary of the Board Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris thanked Independent Hajj reporters IHR for the honor, saying this is one of the Award, worth celebrating by the good people of Bauchi state. .
Imam Abdurrahman admittedly said the hajj camp project is part of the Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad kauran Bauchi administration’s strategy towards ensuring the comfort of the Bauchi pilgrims right from home.
He applauded the Governor for his contributions and logistics support to Hajj administration that made the State proud.
He reiterated the commitment of his board to perform maximally to win more awards in the future.
In his remarks at the occasion, the National Coordinator of Independent Hajj reporters Malam Ibrahim Muhammad acknowledged that Bauchi State has the best Hajj camp in Nigeria and performed creditably well in camping activities, adding that Bauchi Governor has passion for supporting Hajj activities.
Earlear in his speech the. Special Guest of honor at the occasion, His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Katsina state Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari commended the IHR for been proactive in monitoring all activities of the Hajj excercise in Nigeria and congratulated all successful states.
The Bauchi state participants at occasion includes: the special Adviser to His Excellency Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad on pilgrims Affairs, Alh. Adamu Ibn Madaki, the Chairman of the Board double as the Chief Imam of the Bauchi Central Mosque Imam Bala Ahmad Limanci and other Board members, the Executive Secretary and other principal officers of the Board to mention but few.
