The National Hajj Commission has lauded Sokoto state pilgrims’ welfare agency for its commitment towards providing welfare for its pilgrims over the years.
The NAHCON Director of Inspectorate and compliance, Alhaji Usman Aliyu Shamaki make the commendation while on an inspection visit to assess hajj facilities in Sokoto in readiness for Hajj 2022 exercise.
Alhaji Shamaki expressed satisfaction on what he saw on the ground and commended the permanent Secretary in charge of the Agency, Alhaji Shehu Mohammed Dange for his Commitments towards moving the Agency forward.
On his part, Alh. Shehu Mohammed Dange noted that the visit would no doubt encourage the staff to be more alive to their responsibilities.
Among the NAHCON Delegation were Umar M. Kalgo of Outreach Center Abuja, Garba Yakubu Zonal Coordinator in-charge of Sokoto, Kebbi, and Zamfara and Nabila Umar of Licensing Department of the commission .
The Director of Finance & Supply Alh Shehu Usman Yahaya, Director of Administration Alh Ibrahim Muhammad Babangida and other management and staff of the agency were also present.
