JUST IN: Algerian who murdered two Umrah pilgrims in Makkah arrested
An Algerian national who arrived in Saudi Arabia on a visit visa killed two of his compatriots and has been arrested.
An Algerian national who arrived in Saudi Arabia on a visit visa killed two of his compatriots.
The Makkah police announced the arrest of the visitor, who assaulted and stabbed to death two other visitors from Algeria.
The stabbing incident took place at a hotel in Makkah and the perpetrator fled the scene after committing the crime.
The police launched a manhunt for him and arrested him. The murderer was referred to the Public Prosecution after completing the necessary legal procedures, the police added.
