JUST IN: Bauchi Muslim Pilgrims’ Board Partners Christians’ Board for Service Delivery

The Executive Secretary of the Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris welcomes strong partnership with the Christian pilgrims Board as part of his efforts to continue with the existing close cooperation.

 

Imam Abdurrahman was speaking when he received in audience the Executive Secretary Bauchi State Christian Pilgrims Board, Hon. Samuel J. Haruna who paid him a courtesy visit in his office on Tuesday in Bauchi.

 

Imam Abdurrahman described the two organisations as twin brothers, charged with the responsibility of ensuring the welfare of the state’s pilgrims.

Imam Abdurrahman applauded His Excellency Sen. Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad, the Executive Governor of the state for his continued support and encouragement towards their success.

 

Assuring the Governor on their commitment to deliver quality services to pilgrims,  Mal. Abdurrahman asked for strong ties between the two organisations.

 

Earlier, in his speech the Executive Secretary of the #lChristian Pilgrims Welfare Board Samuel J Haruna said the aim of the visit is to congratulate Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris over his recent appointment as the new Executive Secretary by the governor and emphasized the need for them to unite.

 Meets Hajj Affairs Officers

Similarly,  Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris has interacted  with   #Hajj affairs Officers from the 20 Local Governments in Bauchi Stat.

The meeting held at the conference hall of the Board.

 

The Executive Secretary charged them to rededicate themselves to their official responsibilities to ensure successful Hajj operations.

 

Imam Abdurrahman reminded them that the majority of intending pilgrims from the state are from remote areas with little or no knowledge on the social and spiritual aspects of Hajj.

 

He expressed optimism that the contributions of local Government Hajj Affairs Officers towards education and pilgrims enlightenment will go along way to achieving hitch free  Hajj operations and  also enable the pilgrims have an acceptable Hajj (Hajj Mabrur) that the beloved prophet Muhammad (SAW) Said has no reward except Aljanna.

 

The highlight of the event includes group pictures with the Hajj affairs officers and the officials of the Board.
