The General Presidency of the Grand Mosque Haram will soon release the crowd control guidelines that will guides worshippers in the Masjid AL Haram in the event of the opening of Tawaf and Umrah.

A series of tweets @Haramaininfo earlier today indicated that the guidelines will be released in three parts.

Part of the messages reads “The Opening Of Masjid Al Haram* Later today, we will be sharing the Crowd Control plan for Masjid Al Haram in the event of the opening of Tawaf and Umrah within the precautionary regulations in order to prevent an outbreak of the coronavirus.

“These guidelines have been formulated after been researched by specialists in the administration department and is to be implemented in the event that Masjid Al Haram is only partially opened for Tawaf and/or for the performance of Umrah as well.

Note: IT IS NOT an indicative of when Masjid Al Haram will open for Tawaf and Umrah. It is only a crowd control directive to be implemented when the Haram re-opens for Tawaf and Umrah as and when that decision is made by the relevant authorities.
