JUST IN: Nigerian Umrah Pilgrims arrive Jeddah, proceed to Madinah

The first batch of Umrah pilgrims from Nigeria has arrived the King Abdul Aziz International airport Jeddah, Saudi Arabia early on Wednesday morning.

The pilgrims, numbering 75 departed Nnamdi Azikiwe international airport Abuja on Tuesday.

They are the first batch of Pilgrims from Nigeria that will perform Umrah since the suspension and reopening of the lesser Hajj by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

50 of the pilgrims traveled under Eminista Travels and tours while the remaining 25 are from Earth travels.

HAJJ REPORTERS gathered that the pilgrims are now on their way to Madina for visitation.
