JUST IN: Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah issue Guideline for Foreign Umrah Pilgrims

MAKKAH, July 29 (Bernama) -- Pilgrims performing ?awaf al-Qudum (Tawaf of Arrival) under strict health precautionary measures on the first day of Haj this year. The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has set the conditions for pilgrims that will arrive from outside of Saudi Arabia.

These conditions and implementations are for the third phase of the gradual return to Umrah which resumes next SUNDAY.

The age group allowed to travel for Umrah from abroad is from 18 years to 50 years.

One MUST submit a PCR examination certificate with a negative result to prove that they are free from Covid-19.

One MUST book all visits to Masjid Al Haram & Umrah via the ‘EatMarna’ App.

During the minimum 3 days of Isolation, one must reserve accommodation which provides 3 meals a day during this period.
