JUST IN: Saudi opens ‘E-Visa’ for Nigeria Umrah/Hajj pilgrims

Saudi Consular office in Kano has said that the Ministry of Foreign affairs in Saudi Arabia has started issuing Hajj/Umrah ‘E-Visa’ automatically and electronically to Nigerian intending pilgrims through approved travel agencies with effects from 20th of April 2019.

This was contained in a circular issued by Saudi Arabia Consular office in Kano to all airline operating in Kano with reference no. 322/92/070 dated 20th of April.

It said “ The Saudi Consular in Kano would like to inform you of the new arrangements circulated to her by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Saudi Arabia regarding the Ministry’s arrangement for issuing Hajj/Umrah visa automatically and electronically.

“Where a unified and standardized e-visa (attached photo) has been approved where intending pilgrims can easily accessed the ministry of foreign affair’s platform through travelling agencies and prints out his/her visa which takes effects from 20/04/2019.
