Kaduna Muslim Pilgrims’ Board Train staff on enrolment of pilgrims’ into Hajj Saving Scheme

Kaduna State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board and Jaiz Bank PLC has organized a one day workshop on the enrollment of intending pilgrims into Jaiz Bank Hajj Saving Scheme Account.

 

The Ag. Overseer of the Board Haj. Hannatu Zailani made this known during the formal opening of the retraining of Registration officers by Jaiz Bank official at the Board Headquarter. She said the official of Jaiz Bank demonstrated to the staff on how to open Jaiz bank account for intending pilgrims, creates BVN  and as well as how to transfer their funds into the account.

 

Haj. Hannatu said the Board initiate the training to ease the process in compliance with NAHCON directive to migrate 60% of Intending Pilgrims to Jaiz Bank Hajj Saving Scheme. She added that the Board is about to complete the update of all the affected Pilgrims Data in the State.

 

The Ag. Overseer further directs all the Management Staff of the Board and the Registration Officers of the 23 Local Government Offices to open a Hajj Saving Scheme account with Jaiz Bank plc.

 

Speaking earlier, an official of the Jaiz Bank plc said the Bank is the custodian of the fund and that all other arrangements and activities as per Hajj operations is a statutory responsibility of the Board.

 

The two organizations expressed their satisfaction on the enrollment programme.
