The Executive Secretary of the Kaduna Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Dr Yusuf Yakubu Arrigasiyyu, has called on registered Intending Pilgrims of the State to update their payments to 2.5 million before the 20th of February 2023.
He stated this during a meeting with Registration Officers from the 23 Local Government Areas of the State saying it would help guarantee the slot offered to the Pilgrims and enable early remittance of the money to the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON.
Dr Yusuf added that NAHCON allocated 5,982 Hajj seats for Kaduna State and further cautioned the Registration Officers to be law abiding and fair in discharging their responsibilities.
The Executive Secretary stated that the state requires more seats.
The Executive Secretary further urged the interested facilitators to write and apply for the enlightenment seminars or workshops for 2023 intending Pilgrims and to submit before 15th February 2023.
