Kano Intending Pilgrims Round-up Practical Orientation

Intending pilgrims from Kano state has rounded up their practical orientation in respect of the forthcoming Hajj exercise.

 

The programme was rounded up on Wednesday at kano hajj camp training ground with the state deputy governor, Nasiru Gawuna in attendance.

 

The intending pilgrims, who were invited from all the 44 local government areas of the state described the practicals as one of the major tutorials that will assist them to participate fully in this year’s pilgrimage.

 

 

Malam Ahmad from Ungogo local government who spoke to our reporter, said  ” this is my first time to go to the holy land for hajj, but from what we learned during weekly orientations and that of today’s practicals, we would make our hajj acceptable by the special grace of Allah and I thank governor Ganduje for the usual support and co-operation that he rendered to our instructors”.

 

Another pilgrim, Malama Zainab from Nassarawa local government told HAJJ REPORTERS that they learned a lot in terms of hajj rites through various training and practical

She assured that Kano pilgrims would continue to respect all the laws and rules of Hajj operations both at home and while in the holy land.

 

In his remark, the kano deputy governor Dr Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna disclosed that the state government under the stewardship of Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje would continue to support yearly hajj operations

He also announced that all intending pilgrims will receive a token of 50 Saudi  Riyals (N5000), from the state government as assistance.

 

The deputy governor warned the intending pilgrims to be cautious with whoever tried to give them luggage or any form of goods without knowing its contents to guard against falling into drugs and other contraband scandals

He wished all of them mercy journey.

 

Speaking at the end of the practical orientation, the executive secretary, kano pilgrims welfare board, Mohammed Abba Dambatta, assured that the board would continue to do whatever is possible to ensure that the 2019 hajj operations is free of hiccups.

He commended the state governor and his deputy for all the necessary support they have been rendering to his board.
