The Executive Secretary of Kano Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Muhammad Dambatta, has said that Kano is fully ready to participate in the 2021 Hajj Pilgrimage Exercises.

 

 

 

Dambatta, who spoke to HAJJ REPORTERS in his office on thursday, said that the entire staff of the board has taken the COVID-19 Astra Zeneca Vaccine in preparation for the forthcoming Hajj operations.

 

 

He said the State has over 1,700 Hajj 2020 registered pilgrims who has been cleared with their deposits intact in relevant accounts. Alh Dambatta further stated that the carried over pilgrims will be considered first in the event that Hajj 2021 takes place.

 

 

 

The Executive Secretary said Kano state government gave top priority to issues relating to Hajj and as such His Excellency, Governor Umar Abdullahi Ganduje is working and monitoring closely development and happenings in the Pilgrims Welfare Board.

 

 

He added that the board has received an approval to established Hajj Saving Scheme Desks Officers which they have communicated to Jaiz Bank.

 

 

 

Dambatta hints that all their 44 local Government areas Hajj Center offices have been reactivated and People’s can now make full use of them who are interested to participate in the forthcoming Hajj operations.

 

 

 

Muhammad Dambatta commended Governor Ganduje for his concern on not only Hajj Pilgrimage Exercises but all other Islamic religious activities in the state.
