Katsina Pilgrims Boss Urges Intending Pilgrims to take Covid Vaccine

The Executive Director of Katsina State Pilgrims welfare board Alhaji Suleiman Nuhu Kuki has advised the 2021 intending Pilgrims from the state to ensure that they receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

 

Suleiman Nuhu Kuki  stated this when he addressed the state intending Pilgrims before the commencement of the Vaccination exercise in Funtua and Malumfashi Zones of the state.

 

The Executive Director stated that all intending pilgrims were expected to be administered with the first and second dose of the vaccine before their departure for the Holy land.

 

He reminded the pilgrims that Saudi Authorities had declared that pilgrims must be vaccinated against the covid-19 before being allowed to perform this year’s Hajj. Aljaji Suleiman Nuhu Kuki added that the exercise was in compliance with the directives of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON.

 

A statement signed by the board’s Public relations officer, Badaru Karofi said that “The Executive Director expressed satisfactions with the turnout of intending pilgrims in all the two Zonal pilgrims offices.

 

Also speaking the representatives of the coordinators of both Funtua and Malumfashi primary Healthcare Development Agency told the intending Pilgrims that the vaccine is safe, and urged them to ensure that they are vaccinated, the statement added.
