Kwara pilgrims’ board begins enlightenment programme Saturday

The Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims‘ Welfare Board has urged all intending pilgrims for the 2023 Hajj from the state to attend its first enlightenment programme in preparation for the exercise.

This is contained in a statement by Alhaji Abdulsalam Abdulkadir, Executive Secretary, Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims’ Welfare Board on Wednesday in Ilorin.

He said that the programme would be for the intending #pilgrims from the sixteen Local Government Areas of the state.

Abdulkadir said that the programme would come up on Saturday 6th of May, 2023 at the Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims’ Welfare Board Office located along Islamic Village Gerewu Area off Adewole Estate Ilorin.

He added that the programme would also feature Special prayers to be led by the Chief Imam of Ilorin, Imam Muhammad Bashir Solihu and other Islamic Clerics across the State.

The executive secretary said that other information relating to the arrangement for a successful pilgrimage exercise in Makkah and Madina would be passed to the intending pilgrims.

He stressed that all the intending pilgrims who have registered with the board are expected to attend as a matter of importance.
