LAST 10 DAYS OF RAMADAN: We are ready for safety and crowd control – Eng. Bassam bin Saeed Al-Obaidi

The General Administration for Security, Safety and Crowds, represented by the Department of Safety at the Grand Mosque said they have followed up on the safety devices in all presidential sites and ensured their readiness and safety.

His Excellency the Director of the Safety Department, Eng. Bassam bin Saeed Al-Obaidi, explained that the administration is devoting its efforts to ensure the removal of everything that would obstruct or harass the movement of visitors to the Sacred House of God, in order to ensure their safety while performing rituals.

The Safety Department also intensifies field tours to ensure the effectiveness and readiness of safety devices, and to ensure that the work ranges are completely isolated from the places of pedestrians and worshipers, as well as continuous detection and verification of the validity of permits and work in accordance with the controls of international safety regulations and requirements.

Al-Obeidi added that the employees of the Safety Department implement the weather fluctuations plan and also the constant reminder on the application of physical spacing, and the keenness to wear the muzzle and prepare daily engineering reports on the observations that hinder the visitors of the House of God the Sacred.

These blessed efforts come within the directives of His Excellency the General President for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, Sheikh Prof. Dr. Abdul-Rahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais.
