LAST 10 DAYS: Reservations for Umrah, Rawdah visit full as Nusuk App shows grey color

by admin

The Nusuk electronic application showed that there is no possibility to obtain a reservation to perform the Umrah pilgrimage or a visit to the Rawdah Sharif at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah during the remaining days of the holy month of Ramadan.

All days, including the last ten days of the fasting month, appeared in grey, which shows no possibility of any upcoming bookings for performing Umrah or visit the Rawdah Sharif.

The Grand Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah are witnessing huge influx of Umrah pilgrims and visitors from within the Kingdom and all parts of the world ever since the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah revealed earlier that a permit is mandatory either to perform Umrah or visit the Rawdah Sharif during the holy month of Ramadan, the peak annual Umrah season. However, it is not required to obtain a permit to offer prayers at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque.

The appointment shall be taken through the Nusuk application or the Tawakkalna application, provided that there is no infection of coronavirus or contact with an infected person.
