The medical screening for 2022 Intending Pilgrims from the Federal Capital Territory has commenced.

 

Medical personnel from the FCT Administration are screening the pilgrims to ascertain their medical status in preparation for the journey.

 

On Friday, Intending pilgrims from Gwagwalada and Kwali area councils were screened at the permanent hajj camp.

 

Intending pilgrims from Bwari, Kuje and Abuja Municipal Area are being screened today Saturday.

 

The exercise would continue tomorrow Sunday with intending pilgrims from Headquarters and Abaji area council.

The exercise is in line with the directives from National Hajj Commission of Nigeria to screen all intending pilgrims before the airlift to Saudi Arabia.

 

Meanwhile, the Board would conduct the last phase of Education and Orientation Exercise on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd May, 2022.

 

In a statement from the Director of the Board, Mallam Muhammad Nasiru Danmallam, the final phase of the Education and orientation exercise would cover practical aspects of hajj and all other relevant areas on the spiritual Journey.
