NAHCON Commissioner gives out daughter in Kano

Hundreds of well wishers on Sunday stormed Masallacin Murtala in Kano State to witness the wedding fatiha of Dr Hannatu, daughter of Alhaji Nura Hassan Yakasai, Commissioner in charge of Policy, Personnel, Management and Finance at the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON.

 

Yakasai had given out the hand of Dr Hannatu in marriage to Arc. Muhammad Shafiq Kamal.

Speaking to Hajj Reporters at the wedding, the Commissioner expressed happiness for witnessing the day.

 

He said it is a memorable day to him as he witnessed the marriage of his eldest daughter.

 

Alhaji Yakasai stated that he had given his daughter a good upbringing that would make her a good wife, adding that the groom is also a good person that can handle his wife diligently.

 

“Both children are of good qualities and I hope they will live peacefully. I have trained her to be a good person and a good wife.

 

“The way we have seen Muhammad, we feel that he is also a good and qualitative husband. So, we pray to Allah to give them a perpetual marital life and happiness.”

 

“Let me also use this opportunity to call on the couple to live their marital life according to the teaching of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW),”

 

Alhaji Yakasai also expressed gratitude to the leadership of NAHCON, under Barr. Zikrullah Kunle Hassan, his management staff and everybody that attended the wedding, wishing them safe trip back to their respective destinations.

 

Also speaking, the Head of New Media Unit of NAHCON, Muhammad Ahmad Musa advised the couple to be up and doing to discharge their responsibilities to one another.

 

He also advised them to prepare to raise their children according to Sunnah of the prophet in order to be productive and contribute to societal development.

 

While wishing the couple an eternal marital bliss, Musa congratulated the father of the bride for giving out the hand of his daughter in marriage.
