NAHCON Inspect Gombe Pilgrims’ Board, commend improvements in facilities

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) inspection team has visited Gombe State Muslim Pilgrims’ Welfare Board as part of pre requisite for the issuance of operating license.

 

The Director, Inspectorate and compliance of the commission Alh. Usman Aliyu Shamaki who led the team commended the Hajj facilities in Gombe saying the state has created a conducive environment for the hajj exercise.

 

Alh. Aliyu Shamaki was also impressed with the office equipment , and facilities at the Hajj transit camp stressing that the Gombe Hajj camp is up to standard.

 

Earlier in his remarks the Executive Secretary of the Gombe state Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board Alh Sa’adu Hassan Adamu stated that His Excellency, Governor Inuwa Yahya has changed the narratives of Hajj management in the state.

 

“We assure you that the management will remain focused in making the state a reference point in terms of providing quality services to Pilgrims. Gombe Hajj camp has all necessary facilities for the comfort of Pilgrims. He added.

 

A statement signed by the Head of Media of the board, Hauwa Mohammed said “the inspectorate team had inspected facilities at the Hajj camp like Clinics, both male and female hostels, kitchen, water reservoirs and ablution points among others.

 

On preparation for the forthcoming 2022 Hajj, Hassan said the Board has embarked on media to enlighten the intending Pilgrims and also train the trainers to makes them up to dates.

 

Earlier in his welcome address, the head of operations of the board Alh. Isah Abdulmuminu expressed happiness for the visit and assured the team the readiness of the board to ensure the success of the Hajj operation.
