NAHCON, States Pilgrims’ Boards Ready For 2022 Hajj – Forum of States Executive Secretaries

The national hajj commission of Nigeria NAHCON and the Forum of Executive Secretaries of States Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has promised to unite and close ranks ahead of preparation for hajj 2022

 

The Executive Secretary of Kano State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Alh Muhammad Abbah Dambatta who is also the vice chairman of the forum confirmed the development to HAJJ REPORTERS after the forum meets with NAHCON Chairman Barr Zikrullah Hassan, NAHCON Commissioners and secretary of the commission in his office in Abuja on Thursday.

 

The Chairman of Forum of Executive of State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alh Idris AlMakura led the delegation to NAHCON office to discuss how to move the Hajj industry forward and concentrates on hajj 2022 after the disagreement over the implementation of Hajj Saving Scheme.

 

The forum also resolved to continue to support NAHCON on its efforts to conduct a hitch free hajj in 2022 and also creates robust mechanism for in house interface to resolve differences for the interests of pilgrims.

 

“Today the forum meets to discuss preparation for hajj 2022 and the disagreement over the implementation of Hajj savings Scheme. After exhaustive deliberations, we decided to meet with NAHCON Chairman Barr Zikrullah Hassan and his management team to chart the way forward. I am happy to inform you that we have agreed to resolves whatever differences and immediately begin preparation for Hajj 2022 which is just a few weeks away. He added
