NAHCON to Flag off Construction of “Hotel-Like Structure’at Kaduna Hajj Transit Camp tomorrow

Barely unforeseen circumstances, the national hajj commission in collaboration with Kaduna State Pilgrims Boards will tomorrow flag-off the construction of a 5-star hotel at Kaduna State Hajj Transit Camp.

The event which is set to commence by 11 am will attract hajj stakeholders across the country.

The project which is part of the ongoing renovation, upgrade and construction of pilgrims Hotel at Hajj camps across the country by the outgoing NAHCON board member lead by Barrister Abdullahi Mukhtar is being funded from the development levy embedded in pilgrims hajj fare.

 

INDEPENDENT HAJJ REPORTERS learnt that the Hotel will serve as a transit temporary accommodation for pilgrims during hajj airlifts and also serves as sources of revenue generation for Kaduna State Pilgrims board during off hajj season.

 

Currently, similar projects are being executed in Kano and a befitting Mosque was recently constructed in Adamawa Hajj Camp. Expansion projects are also ongoing at Lagos Hajj Camp.
