Nasarawa Begins Covid-19 Vaccination for Hajj 2021 Intending Pilgrims

Nasarawa State Muslim Pilgrims board said it has commenced the Covid vaccination for all its registered Hajj 2021 intending pilgrims in the State.

 

A statement signed by the Publication Relations Officer of the board AbdulRazak Muhammad said the exercise which begins on Wednesday wall last for two days.

 

During his visit to one of the vaccination centre in Nasarawa, the Executive Secretary Nasarawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board Mallam Idris Ahmad Almakura urges intending pilgrims to makes themselves available for the vaccine  and stated that the board had created centre in Nasarawa, Keffi and Akwanga Local Governments areas of the state

 

 

The statement stated that Almakura reminds intending pilgrims that COVID 19 vaccine is a prerequisite for those who wish to perform this year hajj. He restated the boards commitment to ensure that the second dose is made available in due time.

 

Alh Idris Almakura applauded the State Governor, Abdullahi Sule and the Primary Healthcare Development Agency for the support accorded to the state Pilgrims Board to ensure a hitch free vaccination exercise in the State.

 

While in Nasarawa local government the Executive Secretary of the board Idris Ahmad Almakura later paid a visit to Emir of Nasarawa HRH Jibrin Usman for a royal blessing in his palace.

 

The Royal father commended the Executive Secretary for introducing a center for the vaccine in Nasarawa local government and urged the board to be very mindful in the registration process to avoid hiccups at the end of the exercise.
