The Executive Secretary Muslims Pilgrims Welfare Board Mallam Idris Almakura led the management staff of the board to defend the 2020 budget proposal of the board before the House Committee on Pilgrims at the state house of Assembly in Lafia.
Mallam Almakura who is currently in Saudi Arabia for an official engagement was represented by Director Admin and Supply of the board Alh. Ibrahim Aminu Shammah. Almakura told members of the committee that the budget was carefully planned to enhance the welfare of Pilgrims.
Earlier, the chairman of the committee and member representing Keffi West at the state House of Assembly Ali Ibrahim Nana urged the secretary of the board to work with everybody to move the board forward.
In their separate remarks, members of the committee promised to accord the secretary of the board necessary support to exile in his assignment.
